Product Inspection

Before shipment, each Chloe Dress goes through a quality inspection. We review the finished garment to help ensure that it corresponds with the important details of your order.

  1. The selected style, size, color and applicable customization details are reviewed.
  2. ```
  3. The overall condition and workmanship of the dress are checked.
  4. Important areas such as stitching, seams, zippers, closures, lace, beading and other embellishments may be inspected.
  5. After the final inspection, the dress is carefully packaged and prepared for shipment.
  6. ```

About Cleaning

Wedding dresses, evening gowns and other formal dresses may contain delicate fabrics, lace, embroidery, beading or other decorative details. For delicate or valuable garments, professional cleaning is generally recommended.

If your dress only has a small stain, careful spot cleaning may be appropriate depending on the fabric and construction of the garment.

  1. Check the fabric. Different materials require different cleaning methods. Delicate fabrics and heavily embellished dresses should be handled with extra care.
  2. ```
  3. Inspect the entire dress. Check the neckline, bodice, sleeves and hem for makeup, food, drinks, perspiration, dust or other marks.
  4. Test before cleaning. Always test any cleaning method or product on a small hidden area before applying it to a visible section.
  5. Blot instead of rubbing. When treating a small stain, gently blot the area with a clean white cloth. Avoid aggressive rubbing.
  6. Avoid harsh chemicals. Do not use bleach or strong cleaning products unless they are specifically suitable for the fabric.
  7. Pay attention to the hem. Floor-length gowns may collect dust and dirt around the hem. If only the hem is affected, consider treating that area separately.
  8. Dry carefully. Avoid hanging a heavily wet gown because the additional weight may stretch the fabric, straps or seams.
  9. ```

About Preserving

Proper storage can help keep your wedding dress or special occasion gown in good condition for years to come.

  1. Make sure your dress is properly cleaned before long-term storage.
  2. ```
  3. For long-term preservation, consider using an acid-free preservation box and acid-free tissue paper.
  4. Avoid ordinary cardboard boxes or storage materials that may transfer color, chemicals or moisture to the fabric.
  5. If the dress is stored on a hanger, use a suitable padded hanger and a breathable garment covering.
  6. Keep the dress in a cool, clean and dry location away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity and significant temperature changes.
  7. Check the dress periodically for discoloration, moisture or hidden stains during long-term storage.
  8. ```

Important Care Reminder

The appropriate cleaning and care method depends on the fabric, construction and embellishments of each dress. The information above is intended as general guidance and may not be suitable for every garment.

If you are unsure how to clean, steam, iron or preserve your dress, we recommend consulting a professional cleaner experienced with bridal and formal garments.
